Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A new gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and news eu law international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
